(Note: After May 26, the Village is open until 5:00 pm for the regular season.)

Teachers, get your students involved in a one-of-a-kind learning experience at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad—Michigan's only authentic 1800s village. Students can experience what life was like in the days of Abraham Lincoln and Harriet Tubman.

There’s a lively show in the Colwell Opera House, and historic activities underway in the Village, homes, and shops. Your students will enjoy a ride on one of our vintage amusement rides. The Charles W. Parker Carousel, Superior Wheel, pony cart, miniature Flyer Train, and Venetian Swing rides are $1.25 each or $4.00 for 4 rides. Those who are physically challenged can enjoy the wheelchair swing ride.

Student tickets (ages 3–12) include admission to the Village and train ride. Teachers (one per class) and bus drivers receive free admission. Adult chaperones are admitted at the student rate. After taking in the Village’s history, you can enjoy a sack lunch at the Mill Street Warehouse from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
