Beaches

  • Bluebell Beach
     5500 Bray Rd., Flint, MI 48505
     8 a.m. – 8 p.m. No lifeguards on duty during the 2009 season. Park attendants will be on duty from 12:30 – 8:30 at Bluebell, Buttercup, and Clover for May 23-September 7, 2009. Call for operating dates, (810) 736- 7100.
     

  • Splash Pad Spray Ground at Bluebell Beach, 5500 Bray Road, Flint MI 48505 (Genesee Township)
    May 23 – September 7, 2009 
     12 Noon – 8 p.m (see map)

    • Genesee County's first Splash Pad Spray Ground shoots water in a timed sequence from the ground and from various play structures on the Splash Pad. There is no charge to use the Splash Pad Spray Ground. (click here for more info)

      Get in your daily run or walk at YOUR Genesee County Parks
      Check out the new walking trail map for Bluebell Beach. The map features a designated walking area with distances marked for your convenience.

  • Bluegill Boat Launch — 2 mile paved trail. 4045 Coldwater Road, Flint MI 48506 (see map) 

  • Flint River — .8 mile paved trail linking Carpenter Road and Bluebell Beach. (see map)

Bluegill Boat Launch

24 hours daily, year-round. 4045 Coldwater Road, Flint MI 48506. Seasonal fee. Entrances on Coldwater Road at Center Road; and Genesee Road south of Stanley Road. No wake speed limit on Mott Lake. (see map) 

Alcohol Policy for All Parks
No alcohol or illegal substances allowed. Park rangers will issue tickets with fines of up to $100 for all violations.
